Teacher Marc Rice and his students from Hawaii Preparatory Academy (HPA), inscribing and painting a number on the carapace (turtle shell) of a Green Sea Turtle, Chelonia mydas, Marine Turtle Research, organized by researcher George Balazs, PhD, NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), HPA students and teachers (NOAA/HPA Marine Turtle Program), and ReefTeach volunteers at Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, Kona Coast, Big Island, Hawaii, Pacific Ocean.
