Park visitors, photographing tagged and released Green Sea Turtle, Chelonia mydas, in front of the piles of lava rocks of `Ai`Opio Fish Trap built by ancient Hawaiian, note - inscribed and painted number and the sonic transmitter epoxied on its carapace (tutle shell), U.S. Marine Turtle Research, organized by researcher George Balazs PhD, NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Hawaii Preparatory Academy (HPA) students and teachers (NOAA/HPA Marine Turtle Program), and ReefTeach volunteers at Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, Kona Coast, Big Island, Hawaii, Pacific Ocean.
